Switchboard is the UK’s LGBTQIA+ support line. Every phone call, instant message, or email is answered by a volunteer from the LGBTQIA+ community. Whatever is thrown at us, we’ve never stopped showing up for each other. We’ve supported millions. We’re not stopping now.

We believe everyone deserves the chance to be who they are. Millions of lives have been changed forever because our community banded together. We don’t receive any government funding for our listening service. But we know most people agree that no one should struggle alone. If you believe that everyone deserves to be heard and accepted, join us.
We’ve been there for over 4 million people. We’ve done that as a community. Without government support. Just with each other. Everyone is welcome to join in. From those of you who’ve contacted Switchboard, to those who’ve stood with us, to those who simply don’t want anyone to struggle alone.
